It’s the fourth day of Customer Service week already! How time flies. Today the theme is Unlocking Your Potential. We thought this was a perfect opportunity to show off our Customer Service Manager, Richard Mitchell.
Richard joined Ladderstore as an apprentice in 2013 helping out around the office. He used to pick and pack our ladder log inspection system, learn about our products and do some general bits and bobs around the office. He then went on to answer the phones and help our customers. In the time Richard's been with us, he’s learnt a lot and developed his skills. He’s completed two courses, one level 3 NVQ in sales and more recently a level 4 ILM in leadership and management.
If you’ve dealt with Richard, either from a customer or supplier side, you will know he always gives it 100% and will do his best to help you. Richard has achieved a great deal in his time here so we thought we’d share a few things he likes to do, maybe a perfect conversation starter for the next time you contact him… We asked him to select 5 items that he loves. Here goes.
-
The Clash: London Calling - “Simply the best album by the only band that matter. Can’t say much more than that.”
-
BWFC - “My team, my hobby. Wouldn’t want to spend my weekends any other way”
-
My Darts - A game I thoroughly enjoy and a good way to wind down on a Friday after work. I Won't be winning any competitions any time soon but enjoy it even when consistently losing to the Digital Marketing Manager.
-
Ticket Spike - “I love live music, one of my fave things to do in my spare time. I’ve been keeping ticket stubs on the spike since I was about 15”
-
Bass Guitar - “I play the bass guitar” (Thanks Richard, very insightful)
So, there you go. You now know a little more about our Customer Service Manager. If you need any ladder safety advice or need any help in selecting a product Richard will be very happy to help.
You’ve come a long way Richard and we’re glad you are still part of our team!
