The risk assessment and method statement course has been developed and is suitable for site managers, agents, designers and all other job roles that carry out risk assessments and method statements as part of their roles. By partaking in this course delegates will recieve the knowledge and ability to carry out suitable and sufficient risk assessments as well as assessing their competence to review and approve them. The course content will detail the Health and Safety at work act, particularly the management of health and safety at work regulations. The course will also cover practical excercises which covers risk and method statements.
Once the course has been completed successfully each delegate will recieve a certificate as proof of competency which will state the delegate has been trained in the basics of compiling suitable and sufficient risk assessments and method statements, which will be valid for two years. This training is delivered in a classroom facility and has a maximum number of 12 delegates per course. It is beneficial for the delegates to have prior knowledge of hazards on site before attending however this is not essential, they must however be physcially fit and able to carry out practical tasks. This course can be delivered in Oldham or at your site providing the facilities are suitable.
