This range of roof access hatches come at a standard size and shape. These are standard hatches and are suitable for a range of roof types including pitched roofs. As you can see in the image this hatch is manually operated and is manufactured from 2mm Aluminium, which is suitable for 95% of circumstances and environments. All standard roof hatches come with its own upstand at no additional cost. All
Please Note if you already have an existing upstand please contact us for details as a CAD Drawing will need to be created and approved before manufacturing can commence. If required we also provide Bespoke Roof Hatches which can be made with a guardrail and / or an electric control box. For details please contact us.
Other Important Information
- As standard our roof hatches are supplied unpainted in a milled finish. If you would like Powder Coating this can be selected above.
- Hatches are manufactured from 2mm Aluminium with a natural industrial grade finish.
- Hatch lids comprise an aluminium envelope enclosing 60mm of Phenolic insulation, the u-value of the Phenolic insulation is 0.35u as a standalone insulant.
- Minimum Up-stand height to comply with building regulations is 150mm from the roof deck. The Up-stand is also insulated with 60mm Phenolic insulation and pre-drilled with all required fixing holes. Various Up-stands are available.
- Rubber seals between the lid and up stand prevent the ingress of rain
- All components are manufactured from stainless steel except the gas struts and the plastic inner handle. The gas struts can be specified in stainless steel for corrosive or high salt environments
- All other ironmongery including screws, brackets, rivets and hinges are either aluminium or stainless steel.
- Internal locking is provided by a stainless steel hasp and staple to accept a padlock.
- The hatch has a combination of gas struts to balance the opening and to hold the lid in the open position.
