The Werner aluminium Easiway loft ladder is our bestseller for occasional use in the home. This aluminium loft ladder comes with a sturdy handrail, wide and comfortable treads to stand on and is suitable for a minimum opening size of 508 mm x 432mm making it ideal for restricted spaces. The pivot arm makes for a smooth and gliding operation and the unique, sturdy shoot bolt fastening makes it very easy and safe to operate with one hand whilst lifting with the other and once locked into place the Easiway feels substantial.
Although it weighs only 7kgs the 3 section loft ladder has 12 treads and is suitable for ceiling heights of 2.3m to 3m and conforms to BS7553 (Class G). The maximum safe working load is 100kg (15.75 stones) don't forget that is the weight of the person going into the loft and the box or article that they are taking up and down the ladder.Well priced and good quality this light and strong loft ladder comes with operating pole, trapdoor hinges, door catch and fully illustrated instructions, in fact everything you need for a quick and simple installation and converting your loft hatch to drop down.
