Rolling Library Ladders

There are two different versions of the rolling ladder that we have available. The first is the original version of the rolling ladder with the aluminium track. The aluminium track runs across the top of any surface and the chassis system attached to the ladder lets the ladder roll along it. The second version of our rolling ladder system is the stainless-steel track. The stainless-steel track is a newer design and more aesthetically pleasing. Both the aluminium and steel track can be used with all our rolling ladder materials including Oak, Redwood, Poplar, Walnut & Ash.

Our library ladders can either be stored either vertically when not in use or they can be removed completely with the removable chassis option. A removable chassis allows the user to take the ladder off the track and store it elsewhere should they wish. Another benefit of having a removable ladder is if you have multiple tracks in the same environment at the same height, this way two tracks can be used for one ladder.

Our rolling ladders are made to order and come delivered ready to be installed. The installation of your rolling ladder does depend on which track you have selected and if you are fitting the track vertically to a wall or horizontally, for example over the top of a unit. Rolling library ladders work byattaching the ladder to a rail and the swivel technology allows the ladder to roll around a curved 90-degree corner rail to easily be manoeuvred down the track.
